Da V.G is a 24 year old Rapper/song writer from Oudtshoorn, Western Cape currently living in George. He was born and raised by a family of musicians the likes of his older siblings, dad and uncles could all sing so there was no way of escaping but besides being influenced by everything around him he was also influenced by artists like Cream, Early B and Hemel Besem. Telling a story through his lyrics comes much easier than speaking about it like everyone else around him. He uses music as a way of expressing his emotions and outlining a guide a guide to the younger generation to avoid making the same mistakes he or the people around him has made. Da V.G has been making music for the past 4-5 years mainly focusing on his native language, Afrikaans. The main goal has always been to one day become a professional artist. The dream: To share his music with a wider audience, to influence motivate and uplift but like for any other Afrikaans Rapper from the "kasi", it has not been easy but he keeps on dreaming of making a living from his music one day. Da V.G's First single "Vir My Brasse" accumulated more than 14 000 views on YouTube, He has music on all major streaming platforms and uploads content everyday to stay in touch with his core fan base.
